Mewgenics Right-Click Info Guide
Last updated: March 4, 2026
Patch ConfirmedVerified: Mar 4, 2026Version: Post-launch patch cycle
TL;DR
- Right-click and hover enemies to preview movement and attack threat ranges before moving.
- Pair threat ranges with turn order; next actor priority beats low-HP bait.
- Use tactical or alternate view to reveal hidden threats and safer tiles.
- Run a fixed loop: inspect, decide, move, and re-check.
What to Inspect
1) Threat range (movement plus attack reach)
- Where the enemy can move this turn.
- Where it can attack after moving.
2) Enemy behavior and abilities
Read special behavior before committing. Some enemies trigger unusual actions, buffs, or lethal lines.
3) Turn order context
Range alone is not enough. The enemy acting next is usually the one you must respect first.
4) Alternate view and tactical overview
Start fights with a tactical scan, then right-click the most dangerous actors.
Threat Range Reading
Step 1: Scan next-actor enemies first
- The enemy that acts next.
- The enemy with largest reach.
- The enemy with known lethal behavior.
Step 2: Find safe tiles, not best tiles
- Outside next-actor threat zone, or
- Inside zone only if protected by kill, control, or block plan.
Step 3: Quick-scan multiple enemies
Do not stop after one scan. Multi-threat turns are where most avoidable losses happen.
Decision Checklist
- Inspect the next enemy to act.
- Answer three questions: can it hit me now, who it threatens most, and how I prevent it.
- Choose one line: kill, control, or safety reposition.
- Re-check ranges after moving because board lines changed.
Copyable Checklist Table
| Situation | Inspect (right-click or hover) | Do this | Why it works |
|---|---|---|---|
| Start of fight | Next actor + biggest range enemy | Pick safe tile first, then attack | Prevents early walk-into-range deaths |
| You want to advance | Frontline move plus attack zone | Step just outside combined zone | Keeps pressure without free damage |
| Ranger exposed | Enemy zone reaching backline | Reposition and body-block | Avoids preventable backline losses |
| New enemy appears | Description + ability + threat zone | Pick kill, control, or avoid line | Reduces gotcha behavior wipes |
| Fight feels unfair | Tactical view + multi-enemy scan | Reveal hidden threats before acting | Improves consistency in messy boards |
Mistakes
- Moving before scanning threat zones.
- Ignoring turn order and planning around the wrong target.
- Skipping new enemy behavior checks.
- Scanning one threat while walking into another.
- Forgetting tactical view and missing hidden units.
